Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (www.oist.jp) invites applications for at least 2 new faculty positions as part of its planned expansion. Targeted areas for the current search include all areas of chemistry, including chemical biology, synthetic organic/inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and materials chemistry. Applications from strong candidates in other fields may be considered.
OIST seeks applicants with excellent scholarship and creativity. Successful candidates are expected to establish an active program of research, to supervise student research, and to teach in the graduate program. Generous research resources are provided, which may be supplemented with external grants. Appointments will be Tenure-Track or Tenured. Starting date is flexible.
